Her official music video 'In My City' has officially been released worldwide, and within five days of the release, the B-Town hottie, received over 650,000 views online! Her cross-cultural depictions throughout the music video, vivacious Bollywood/contemporary dance moves and creative vocals is what makes you want to listen, or even watch this song time and time again! She is the one and only Priyanka Chopra, who is no longer the nations most versatile and phenomenal actress, however, the first ever Indian film star to make waves on an international scale with her music ventures!
Whilst her acting and now singing skills have been heavily applauded by audiences world-over, her sensational-chic and glamorous dress sense, also makes heads turns on many occassions. In her official music video, Priyanka is rocking a very vibrant, urban, peppy look- in which her sultry black kohl eyes, hot pink nails, nude shaded lips and volumous hair is bringing out the best in her!
Get the Look...
- Always start by applying a primer base to the face, which will enable the foundation to sit comfortably on your skin, and be applied evenly and smoothly.
- Making sure you have matched the same colour of foundation to your complexion, using a medium sized powder brush, apply the foundation in a circular motion onto the face- starting with the forehead and working your way down.
- Priyanka's make-up look is about keeping everything pretty natural, so do not apply an excessive amount of foundation that it begins to look cakey and artificial!
- Now for the all important eyes! Lots of emphasis required, and created using a gel based black kohl pencil and shimmer black eyeshadow.
- Then to accentuate the eyes, use a round barrelled shadow brush and contour shadow brush to blend the black shadow and kajal together- in which the eyes are finished off perfectly.
- No need to apply false eyelashes, simply curl using a volumising mascara- in the colour black, and apply a small amount to the bottom lashes too.
- For added emphasis to the cheeks, use a bronzer rather than a pink/red based blusher. Bronzer will give a warmth and nice lift to the cheeks- and doesn't look over-done.
- And for getting that all perfect pout- apply a lip primer, for the colour to stain longer, and apply either a nude based or light pink shade lip colour and gloss. I wouldn't suggest lining the lips as this can be over-powering.
- For the hair...tip your head upside down and blow dry, for natural volume to be created at the roots. Tip head back, find your parting and style naturally. No straightners or tongs required!
- Priyanka believes in the importance of keeping everything balanced when it comes to makeup. Whereby, if more emphasis is given to the eyes then keep the lips neutral. If you prefer to add a bright colour to your lips, then don't do up the eyes!
As for her fashion statement, Priyanka is an avid believer in wearing what you feel most comfortable in. So long as your comfortable in what you are wearing, you ooze confidence on the inside and outside!
