Actresses who have proved themselves as actresses

If you haven't checked it out already I've recently posted about four actors from B-Town who have proved themselves as some of the finest on screen talents of today. But now I'm here to share with you which of the four female actresses from the fraternity have left a tremendous mark on celluloid too. Whether these female stars have been around in cinema for only a short period of time or along period of time, they have in some or the other proved themselves as actresses with bags of potential. Check out which four actresses I'm talking about below...

1. Divya Dutta

Divya Dutta is by far one of the most talented actresses in the Hindi film industry today. Indeed she has been a part of Bollywood for quite some time now and we audiences never get bored of her onscreen presence. Since her humble beginnings in 1994, Divya was never quite noticed for her acting skills. However, today we recognise with Divya as one of the most talented actresses. From Veer Zaara to Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Divya never leaves any tables unturned and receives immense appraisal from film critics for always giving a par excellence performance whatever the role.

Divya knows she has been around long enough to give what her audiences what they want, and does not fail to woo audiences with her fantastic performances time and time again. Although the veteran actress has gone on record to say that she feels underrated, I must confess she is far from underrated! She is one fine actress that we should continue watching out for.

2. Parineeti Chopra
She entered the industry better known as Priyanka Chopra's cousin, but today Parineeti has calved a name for her herself with or without the familial tag! She first appeared on the silver screen as a supporting actress in Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl, however, after giving a power packed leading role performance in Ishaqzaade, Parineeti knew there was absolutely no looking back! Her timeless emotional expressions to her excellent dialogue execution is what makes Parineeti truly a bundle of talent! Whilst she is only just one film old, we can expect great things from this young superstar in the making.

She may have considered investment banking in London her first and only choice, but making a move to Mumbai and leaving that all behind to join the creative performing arts industry was definitely a worthwhile move. Make sure you catch her magic on screen once agin in Shuddh Desi Romance.

3. Sonam Kapoor
When Sonam Kapoor entered the film fraternity great expectations were held of her considering she was Anil Kapoor's daughter and was bought up in an acting environment. Her debut in Saawariya, however, failed to impress much of B-Town and whilst other contemporaries were doing well, Sonam could not speak of the same. In fact, thereafter she was involved in some other box office disasters such as Players and it seemed like Sonam Kapoor's film career was was never really going to take shape!

Sonam Kapoor proved us all wrong indeed and when many of us started doubting her acting ability she turned around and proved us she can in fact act! Raanjhanaa has to be the film in which this starlet has made her mark! She has come back on screen better then ever before and you can almost see the ways in which she has grown as an actress, matured and learnt more about the craft. She gave a great deal more than mere average performance and is since very much in demand. Whilst it may have taken her time to find her feet, she eventually has and is even said to be auditioning for a Hollywood movie!

4. Kalki Koechlin
The theatre come film actor- Kalki Koechlin is one actress to watch out for. This is one young lady who never fails to give a stellar performance and is undeniably one of the most versatile female stars the industry has today. Whilst other actresses such as Vidya Balan are well established for their versatile acting abilities, I do think it is high time that actresses such as Kalki were recognised too. From acting in the horror film Ek Thi Daayan to being a part of the commercially successful rom-com Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Kalki can simply adapt to any role that comes her way!

This is one young female actress who understands the art of acting inside and out. Whilst she may have been given the role of a supporting actress in many of her films, she never fails to steal the show! I'm sure she has many more amazing films coming her way, so if you haven't already catch her acting finesse on screen soon and you will surely recognise with exactly what I'm talking about!
