Stardust Awards 2013- The fashion hits and misses

T'was yet another star studded celebratory night put together to honour those in the Bollywood industry with awards they righteously deserved. As always, however, I'm back with the ultimate fashion review, checking out which of our ladies from B-Town looked the hottest, and the others that were a total miss...

The fashion hits

1. Priyanka Chopra

Dressed head to toe in 'all black everything', PC was rocking a simple dress that still looked fabulous on the red carpet. Opting to tie her hair up in comparison to the other award functions, Priyanka was making a very a different yet favourable fashion statement on the night. Keeping her makeup neutral with more emphasis on the eyes, she looked immaculate!

2. Alia Bhatt
The Student of the Year star was seen dressed in a beautiful white sleeveless gown, looking so angelic and beautiful. I love the way she has swept her curled tresses to one side and gone for the minimalistic look, for more attention and emphasis can be given on the outfit. It's not that we haven't seen this style of dress before, but it's fresh to see Alia sporting the elegant look!

3. Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti opted for a Manish Malhotra Lengha, which was heavily embroidered around the sleeves and collar. Honestly speaking, I think Parineeti looks so much better and sophisticated in a desi avatar, as it suits her figure perfectly well. She looked fabulous at Stardust, and definitely carried off the sensual desi look incredibly. I like!

4. Anushka Sharma
Black is one of those colours no lady can possibly go wrong with, and Anushka is one lady who has not failed to impress us either. Designed by Armani, the black frilled gown suits Anushka's long and lean figure fabulously, and she does look strikingly elegant. Opting to keep her hair up, Anushka is wearing a pair of simple silver earrings to dazzle up the outfit a little! Lovely!

The fashion misses

1. Sonakshi Sinha

Dressed in a shade of blue, Sonakshi was snapped at Stardust in a Marchesa gown that did not do any justice to her figure at all. With a curvaceous figure, the dress did not flatter her curves in any way, and in fact made her appear rather unfashionable. Whilst her hair and makeup was looking fabulous as always, a help in hand is needed to fix her fashion sense!

2. Bipasha Basu
It was lovely to see Bipasha attending the award function, and I do love her new voluminous hair cut! Other than that, however, the yellow Gucci gown failed to impress miserably. It's an unusual colour to pick for an award ceremony, yet the style of the dress was the main problem, which was a total miss! She doesn't look as impressive as she does, and opting for a designer dress without the flairs in the right places is not my cup of tea!

3. Vidya Balan
Snapped standing next to hubby Siddharth, Vidya was yet again seen in a saree by Sabyasachi. It's not only getting rather repetitive, however, it's getting quite boring. She needs to be a little more adventurous with her sense of style, and I know she could easily pull off a Anarkali dress if she tried! Not a great fan of her fashion statement anymore, she needs a change!

4. Aditi Rao Hydari
Yet again, Aditi opted for a shorter length in dress that doesn't quite suit her figure so well. Although the dress by Rohit Gandhi is a beautiful design, it's a dress not quite fitting for her. Choosing to stay clear of jewellery was a fine choice, since her sequinned dress is quite self-striking. But something a little more 'elegant' then 'sexy' would have been the better choice of outfit for her.

Who do you think was a super hit and a terrible miss? Do you agree with these fashionable choices?
Love fashion! Love Bollywood!
