Bollywood is renowned for producing a numerous amount of films yearly, and this year again we have some of the most awaited film releases making their way into cinema! However, no Bollywood film is complete without a spark of romance shared between our onscreen stars, and here I share with you the five most awaited onscreen couples in film to watch out for over the year, that will undoubtedly make the films worth the watch!
1. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone - Chennai Express
The last time we saw these two stars sizzle onscreen was in 2007 for Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om, and finally Shah Rukh and Deepika are back to pull at our heart strings in their romantic avatar for Chennai Express. Both Shah Rukh and Deepika make a fine couple onscreen, as the Baadshah himself has the ability to woo his onscreen lover ever so naturally, and Deepika's sensual appeal always whets the audiences appetite! Since the success of their last film, I'm confident that they both will deliver another brilliant performance together for their upcoming film, making us fall in love all over again!
2. Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra - Krrish 3
We can never get bored of the onscreen romance shared between the very attractive Hrithik Roshan and stunningly beautiful Priyanka Chopra, and it's exciting to see them back doing what they do best in Rakesh Roshan's sequel Krissh 3. Whether it's a sci-fi movie, action movie, or any other, audiences are keen to see these two fine performers onscreen again and again as they always look totally hot together and share great onscreen chemistry too. As they are capable of delivering the very best performances they are continually recognised at the box office too, which is why Krrish 3 has every reason to succeed!
3. Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma - Matru ki Bijlee Ka Mandola
It's the very first film in which we will be seeing Imran and Anushka share onscreen presence together, and that too in a Bollywood rom-com! With only a week to go till the release of this film, I'm expecting audiences to fall in love with this beautiful cinematic jodi. Without even watching the film, they both definitely look just as good together at the promos, as they would onscreen. They both look so fresh, young, dynamic and incredibly sweet together, that I think it's safe enough to say that they suit each other more than they would be suited to anybody else in the fraternity!
4. Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha - Lootera
Without a doubt in my mind, Sonakshi looks best when she is snapped next to Ranveer. There have been many speculations about these two young actors starring in a film together, and finally that time has come! The curvaceous heroine and extremely fit hero of Bollywood will appear in Vikranaditya Motwane's romantic drama Lootera. Very, very excited to see these two share some onscreen chemistry, and because they do look ever so great together, I'm pretty sure they will provide audiences with one of the best romances in cinema this year!
5. Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif - Dhoom 3
Last of the five, we have the ever so popular Katrina who will be starred opposite the ever so talented Aamir Khan. Now, I know they are not the conventional onscreen lovers that audiences are eagerly awaiting to see, yet there is something so charming about these two stars, that I do believe in their potential to romance one another in the sequel. Dhoom 3 is undoubtedly one of the most awaited action film releases to look forward to this year, and it will be interesting to see if the film as a whole lives up to our expectations, and whether Aamir and Katrina will accepted as onscreen lovers for the first time!
