As much as I am a fan of King Khan and his film releases, I'm rather disappointed with the fact he gave up his 'no kissing rule'. Which further leads me to question, why he gave in if he was so adamant about it for all these previous years? With no prior warning or interviews which confessed he was going about to do such a scene, viewers turned up to the cinema to be in for an intimate surprise!!
In recent interviews he expands in reasons for why it was necessary, suggesting 'the script demanded it', but my question to the King himself is: why have such a rule in place if your in an industry where such rules cannot afford to exist?
Shah Rukh suggests the kiss was very mechanical and superficial, as there were over 70 people watching him when taking this scene. But either way Mr Khan has been very out-spoken about how he feels with enacting such a scene, and described it as being one of the most uncomfortable things he would never-ever do! So why oh why did he?
